When should I choose the HV hybrid instead of the 48V three-phase LV?
INV-EU-HV is the C&I series: 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 / 80kW with a 160–1000V lithium battery window (typically ~800V class). Higher DC bus voltage cuts current and cable losses versus 48V. Max efficiency is 98.70%. PV access goes up to 160kW (128kW DC input), 1000V max, MPPT 150–850V, and up to six MPPT strings on the 80kW (54A × 6). Off-grid peak can reach 2.5× rated power for 10 seconds.
Will a residential 51.2V ESS wall-mount battery work on this inverter?
No. Battery voltage must sit in the 160–1000V HV range. Pair it with ESS C&I racks (about 512–665.6V), not INV-ESS-512-WM or LFP-TB. Charge/discharge current is 50+50A to 80+80A depending on model — high voltage, not high current like the 350A LV units.
Can I retrofit an existing C&I solar plant and scale later?
Yes. DC-couple and AC-couple modes are both supported, along with DG synchronization. Up to 10 inverters and multiple HV batteries can run in parallel. Output can be 100% unbalanced (each phase up to 50% rated). The unit is IP65, wall-mounted, −40°C to 60°C, intelligent air cooling, RS485/CAN plus GPRS/Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/4G/LAN, and 5–10 year warranty by configuration.
