Can the INV(EU)-EGT-01 series store energy in a battery?
No. This is a transformerless single-phase grid-tie inverter with no battery input. It exports PV to the 220/230V grid only. If you need backup or self-consumption storage at similar power, use the Single Phase Hybrid Inverter (LV) series (INV-EU-1P), which accepts 24V or 48V batteries and can AC-couple an existing solar array.
Why does this series use H6 topology and a wide AC voltage window?
The H6 topology is there to keep leakage current down on a transformerless design. The inverter also tolerates AC grid voltage up to 290V (about 140–300V), which helps on Indian feeders that run high. Max efficiency is 97.60% with 99.90% MPPT efficiency. AFCI is optional; cooling is dual (forced + natural). The unit is IP65 and carries an 8-year warranty.
What power ratings and PV array sizes are available?
Ten single-phase models cover 1.5kW to 6kW nominal AC: INV(EU)-E-1.5GT-01 through INV(EU)-E-6GT-01 (including 2.0, 2.2, 3.0, 3.3, 3.6, 4.0, 4.2 and 5kW). Recommended PV input ranges from 2250Wp on the smallest unit to 7800Wp on the 6kW. That oversizing window is for homes that want grid-export solar without a hybrid battery stack.
