How many panels can one INV-M100M2-700 run, and what module wattage does it accept?
Each unit has two independent MPPT trackers and is designed for two PV modules. Supported input is 210–700W per module, with 13+13A max PV current (19.5+19.5A short-circuit). Combined AC output is 1000W / 1000VA at 220/230V, 50/60Hz. MPPT operates from 25–55V with a 20V start-up voltage, so it suits typical 60/72-cell residential modules used on balconies and compact rooftops.
Does module-level MPPT help if one panel is shaded or facing a different direction?
Yes. Unlike a string inverter, each of the two inputs has its own MPPT, so a shaded, dirty, or differently oriented module does not pull the other one down. That is why this model is aimed at balcony PV, quick-plug kits, and urban roofs with mixed orientation. Peak conversion efficiency is 96.5% (96.0% Euro) with 99%+ MPPT efficiency.
